Course Description: This 120 minute course is an extension of the Grants, Grants, Grants sessions held at the 2009 National Scenic Byways Conference in Denver. What is the secret to preparing a successful grant application? While there are no secrets when it comes to applying for Federal funds through the National Scenic Byways Program, FHWA offers an opportunity to hear from successful applicants as well as some insight from FHWA when it comes to reviewing applications, in context of the program’s eligibility and administrative criteria. This session will focus on demonstrating strategic benefits in a grant application.
